ADDITIONAL CHARGES

Rationale:

Parents are requested to make payments during the year to support their child's education that are not covered in the school levy structure.

Aim:

To assist parents through the provision of information with financial budgeting.

Implementation

Additional expenses not covered in the school levies will be kept to a minimum.
It is acknowledged that some expenses can not be included in the annual school levy as they relate to choice and participation. ie; PEEP, interschool sport, music tuition etc.
Parents will be notified at the Grade level Information Night, held at the beginning of each year, as to the expected additional expenses.
Those parents who do not attend the Information Night will receive a copy of the grade level handout which will include this information.

Evaluation:

This policy will be reviewed as part of the school’s three-year review cycle, and at times when our emergency management procedures are under review.
